Beyz Setup Tutorial

This is a general tutorial to help you setup Beyz AI interview assistant.

Step 1: Choose the Right Browser

To get started, you must use one of our supported browsers. Here are the options:

• Chrome: https://www.google.com/chrome
• Edge: https://www.microsoft.com/edge
• Arc: https://arc.net

Important: we cannot capture audio from your interviewer unless you use one of these browsers.

Step 2: Create Your Interview Assistant

Click “Create New” to create a new interview assistant.

1. Fill out the information to tailor AI responses.
2. Click "Activate" to get everything up and running.

Step 3 (Optional): Personalize Your assistant

You can provide more information to help tailor the assistance. To do so, click “Settings” for the specific assistant that you would like to update.

Here, you can add more information about interview context, personal profile, and cheatsheets! This is important for the assistant to give you customized answers that fit your background.

Here, we have made a self introduction cheat sheet for you, and you can add some more personal cheat sheets, e.g. technical questions, personal stories for behaviour questions, and others you don’t want to forget during an interview.

Step 4: Get Your assistant Ready

For first-time users, you will be prompted to enable audio sharing. Please click on "Allow" and refresh your page.

For Mac Users: Open your meeting invite in the browser

If you are using Zoom

Click on "Join from Your Browser" and join your Zoom meeting from your current browser.

If you are using Microsoft Teams

Click on "Continue on this browser" and join the meeting from your current Browser.

Configure the audio input

Select "Share Tab” and choose your meeting Tab (Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams), enable "Share tab audio", and click "Share" to continue.

For Windows users

You can do the same thing as the Mac users. But you can also share "Entire Screen" with audio sharing enabled. In that way, you can join the meeting via desktop client apps.

Test it without joining a meeting

If you don’t have an interview right now, just the Heygen video we provide to test it out! Click the Open Video Link here and share the tab.

Step 5: Time to Use Your assistant

When you’re in the interview:

1. Click the Start Interview button to start capturing the interview question.
2. The assistant will automatically generate answers when the interviewer finishes each question. However, you can also click the “Answer Now” button right before the interviewer ends their question to get more promptly answers.
3. While you’re waiting for the answer, we’ve provided you with some phrases to buy yourself some time. Feel free to use them!
4. Your customized answer is ready. It is your time to speak.

Practice Mode

We also provide a practice mode for you (as the interviewer) to ask AI questions that you are interested in and get tailored answers based on your personal profile. This is useful for interview preparation!

Note:

• Interview Mode only listens the interviewer side (the side you shared with the App)
• Practice Mode only listens your side (the microphone side)
